Collection and Delivery Driver

Job Role:
A talented and efficient Collection and Delivery Driver is required to join our leading team working for a our reputable vehicle repair body shop. You will be responsible for carrying out the collection and delivery of customers vehicles, dealing with customers in a professional manner, ensuring high standards of customer service.

Qualifications:
Must hold a valid Driver CPC card and 7.5 tonne licence.

Experience:
You must have previous experience working as a Collection and Delivery Driver within a busy environment and be a strong team player with a self-motivation.

Duties:
You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of dealing with customers for the collection and delivery of vehicles.

The position is full time Monday to Friday with additional hours on a Saturday.

Workshop Controller

Job Role:
• To undertake workshop control of all vehicles in progress in a safe and thorough manner, achieving the highest-possible standards of workmanship with the minimum through put time.
• To work effectively with all the Bodyshop team departments to ensure industry-leading standards of customer care and satisfaction are achieved at all times.

Key accountabilities are:

• Ensure that customers are greeted in a professional manner, and the workshop controller formally introduces the company.
• Ensure that all customers’ data is effectively captured and recorded in a legible format onto the manual estimate sheet as required for the estimator.
• Ensure that the agreed repair and PAS125 Scope of Repair can be clearly described to the customer and the relevant insurance assessor.
• Communication with the customer is achieved and consistently recorded on the AutoFlow Comms. System against the relevant Job Details.
• Ensure that knowledge of Consumer Rights and documentation is available and up to date, in liaison with the company’s Trade Association.
• Have a full working knowledge of the skill set of all bodyshop department staff.
• Ensure that the Mod Board WIP Planner system is fully operational and up to date at all times, and the forward planned work requirements are clearly communicated to all Bodyshop staff.
• Assign vehicle repairs to the skill level of the relevant technicians.
• Have knowledge of vehicle repair methodology to manufacturers standards and is able to utilise Thatchams Escribe, Autodata or a Manufacturers Technical Data.
• Have knowledge of Manufacturers Vehicle Safety features and construction method, especially with regard to UHSS and Aluminium components.
• Ensure that the Job Card details are supplied with every vehicle brought into the Bodyshop, and that the vehicle is fitted with a vehicle protection kit.
• Ensure that the repair process stages are randomly monitored to ensure that all bodyshop staff are signing off the repairs as completed.
• Ensure that the technicians are utilising the Autoflow management system by clocking onto and of allocated jobs at each stage of the repair processes.
• Ensure that all technicians are aware of the need to utilise the formal process of reporting supplementary parts or labour requirements, and reporting the details correctly.
• Be aware of current business processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and service.

Experience:
You will have experience of working within the motor trade with a proven track record of delivering results whilst motivating and coaching a large team. Working Hours are Monday to Friday and Saturday on a rota basis.

Apprentice Panel Technican

Job Role:

An enthusiastic person with a passion for vehicles is required to join our leading team as an Apprentice Panel Technician where you will learn the skills and knowledge required to repair damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturer`s specifications utilising modern equipment and techniques.

Qualifications:
Full training will be provided throughout the apprenticeship working towards a City Guilds qualification, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Experience:

To become a Panel Technician you will need to demonstrate: –

  • Excellent practical skills.
  • The ability to work quickly but also pay attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well in a team and on your own.
  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

You must have a keen interest in the automotive industry and have a willingness to learn and a can do attitude.

MET Technician

Job Role:
A talented and efficient MET Technician is required to join our leading team working for a reputable vehicle repair centre. You will carry out the removal and re-fitting of vehicle parts and mechanical repair work in line with the manufacturer`s specifications utilising modern equipment and techniques.

Qualifications:
Must hold City & Guilds qualification, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Senior ATA MET Accreditation would be preferable, but not essential in this role.

Experience:
You must have previous experience working as a MET Technician within a busy body shop environment and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.

Duties:
You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.

Panel Technician

Job Role:
A talented and efficient Panel Technician is required to join our leading team working for a reputable vehicle repair body shop. You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturer`s specifications utilising modern equipment and techniques.

Qualifications:
Must hold a City Guilds qualification, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Senior ATA in Panel would be preferable, but not essential in this role.

Experience:
You must have previous experience working as a Panel Technician within a busy body shop environment and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.

Duties:
You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.

OTE £30,000 to £35,000

Paint Technician

Job Role:
A talented and efficient vehicle body paint technician is required to join our leading team working for a reputable vehicle repair centre. You will be familiar with water based paints and have extensive hands on experience in a vehicle painting environment.

Qualifications:
Must hold a City Guilds qualification, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent.
Senior ATA Paint Accreditation would be preferable, but not essential in this role.

Experience:
The Ideal applicant will be able to produce a high quality of paint spraying from start to finish and you must have experience in water based paints.

You must have previous experience working as a Paint Technician within a busy body shop environment and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.

Duties:
·You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
·Prepare vehicles to be sprayed
·Mix paint to ensure a perfect match
·Spray painting and polishing vehicles
·Quality check on completion ensuring there are no defects

OTE £30,000 – £35,000
